Up high on the mountains resides a mountian wolf pack known as the Silver Mountain Pack. Exo stands as their leader and alongside him is his mate Dianna. Many seasons have gone by and they were not able to bare a single pup until that all changed when their only son named Dust was born. He was the only pup in the litter and his mother was so pleased and happy that they have a son but as for Exo, he knows that his son will be trained to be the greatest Assassin.

Dianna wanted Dust to be whatever he wanted to be, she wanted him to be a healer and take care of those that are in need of help but Exo doesn't want a soft hearted son, he wanted his son to be like him. Dust soon grwon into a small pup but he was happy to be with his mother and she wanted Dust to be happy. Until finally Exo had enough, he removed Dust away from Dianna so that Dust can not be distracted and be trained properly. Dianna fought her own mate to get to her son but soon Later Exo killed his mate right infront of Dust. 

Dust screams and cries out for his mother to wake up but she was already gone. Exo then struggles to train his son to be a killing machine. Dust didn't want to be a killer, he wanted to protect and not hurt so one of the shamens of the pack that was trained underneath Dianna help Dust escape but the healer was also killed for betrayal. Dust kept running and running until his paws no longer can carry him, he falls into a river and floats down it as he was been carried by the current.

He soon reached an area where the River Dancers reside and hopefully his new home.
